Having toured with the National Youth Music Theatre from the age of 15, Chris then went on to study Technical Theatre at LAMDA.
Joining the event industry shortly after, working as both a master carpenter and lighting technician, Chris soon moved into technically designing and site managing various tours. He focused on the interaction between all technical departments and equipment on the emerging networking requirement side.
Chris first met Pylon One in 2007. After a few years of freelancing for them Chris joined Pylon One in 2010, bringing 20 years of event experience with him, specialising in the design and delivery of complex communications solutions.
Chris very much enjoys carrying out the important role of an on-site Project Manager and building a close working relationship with, not only his clients to ensure their absolute satisfaction, but with all other trades/contractors on site.
Chris recognises that the route to success is through collaboration and team work on site.
Quite often when his work is done and the network is functioning he will be found assisting the lighting and/or electrical contractors.
By applying this approach, this ensures that Chris is highly regarded by full time and freelance production managers and third party service providers.
